News 8 will join BlumShapiro once again for the BlumShapiro Thanksgiving Food Basket Campaign for Christian Community Action. This community wide, hands-on program will collect non-perishable food items and financial contributions to provide a full traditional Thanksgiving Day dinner to families and seniors.
From October 1 to November 19 local companies and organizations are asked to collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations which will provide Thanksgiving meals to over 2,300 families and seniors in New Haven.
