(WTNH) -- Bill Klar talks about the healing properties of whole foods.
Klar switched to a macrobiotic lifestyle after he was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer.
He says whole sugar and processed foods are a yin and yang combination and can make you sick. He suggests that people need to be more conscious of the foods they choose, opting for living food over processed foods that are dead.

Vegetarian Crab Cakes
1 medium onion diced
2 stakes of celery diced
½ roasted red pepper diced
½ roasted yellow pepper diced
2 tb of extra virgin olive oil
2 packets of Tempeh grated
2 cloves of garlic sliced
½ cup to 1 cup of panko bread crumbs
1 cup of vegan Mayonnaise
1 cup of panko breadcrumbs
1 table spoon of cappers
1 table spoon of dulse (seaweed)
2 table spoon of lemon juice
½ teaspoon of brown rice vinegar
grate the tempeh in medium size bowl, sauté the onions and celery place in frying pan when translucent add in the bowl with tempeh add remaining ingredients, roasted garlic, panko breadcrumbs, cappers, dulse, lemon juice, vegan mayonnaise, olive oil, dice red and yellow peppers and brown rice vinegar. Mix the veggie mixture
In a frying pan add high heat safflower oil, when oil becomes hot take the mixture and make a patty in the palms of your hands lay the cake in the pan sauté until golden brown on one side then flip and repeat on other side. When brown place on a plate with the tasty sauce on the side and serve.

1 teaspoon of capers
4 cloves of roasted garlic
3 drops of brown rice vinegar
½ teaspoon of dulse
