New Haven, Conn. (WTNH) - WTNH News 8 welcomes the newest member of its news team, Anne Craig. Craig will be joining News 8 as a reporter and weekend anchor. Her first day at the station will be September 7th.
“Anne is a proven journalist and anchor who will complement the strongest and most experienced team of reporters, anchors and photographers in Connecticut broadcasting,” said John Bell, Managing Editor of News 8. “Anne is a terrific addition to the News 8 team.”
Craig comes to WTNH from Fox 5/WNYW in New York City, where she was an anchor/reporter. Prior to Fox 5, Craig worked at Fox station in Orlando, Florida. She has also worked in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and at Walt Disney World News as a reporter/producer covering feature stories for their national news feed.
A graduate of Miami University, Craig continued her journalism studies at Stanford University. She is an active volunteer in New York City. Craig serves meals to the hungry at the New York City Rescue Mission. She also volunteers at the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club in Brooklyn and the Humane Society of New York. She has run two NYC Marathons to raise money for the “Team for Kids” charity and for the Alzheimer’s Association. She currently lives in Manhattan with her husband Chris and dog Henry.
