Food drive in Milford

    It's the time of year to give thanks and help those less fortunate. With that in mind, News Channel 8 and 99.1 WPLR are hosting a series of food drives to help Fill the Yale Bowl with Thanksgiving turkeys and non-perishable food items.

    The goal is to collect 85,000 pounds of food and 45,000 turkeys for the Connecticut Food Bank .

    Gil Simmons was the Mobile Weather Lab in Milford at a food drive at the Milford Shop Rite.
