(WTNH) -- It's that time of year again when folks get ready to pack the Green in New Haven.

The annual International Arts and Ideas festival began Saturday in New Haven.

The Arts and Ideas festival is a huge, 15 day celebration of music, theater, and all things art.

You'll see unique performances by artists from all around the globe, along with workshops, historic tours, foodie experiences, mixology classes, and plenty of family-friendly activities.

Headline acts appear on the New Haven Green every weekend night. This year's lineup includes the vocal ensemble "Sing the Truth", and country rock star Roseanne Cash.

Make sure to bring your lawnchair!
