(WTNH) -- The annual Bike MS Red Thread Steelchase Ride is this Sunday, June 3rd.

There are two locations, the "cross the countryside" ride begins at Griffin Center in Windsor, and the "down to the Sound" ride starts at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport.

Each location has different length options. There's the 2-mile kids' ride, intermediate lengths of 10 and 25 miles, or the super-challenging 50- and 100-mile rides. Along the route, there are water and food stations, and you can invite friends to cheer you along.

Once again, News 8's own Darren Kramer will be there at the starting line; he's been advocating for a cure for Multiple Sclerosis for many years.

There's still time to register, or make a donation, just visit the Connecticut MS Society website.
