Mystic Aquarium stops by with a couple of African Pengiuns and to talk about the 6th Annual Penguin Run / Walk on Oct 13th. If you want to participate in the event you have the option to choose between a 5K run or 2 mile walk. Dogs and strollers are welcome for the walk. People can register in-person at Mystic Aquarium on Friday, October 12, 3pm – 7pm, or Saturday, October 13, 7am – 8:30am (online registration is closed). Participants receive FREE admission to the aquarium on race day and get to see the aquarium’s penguins race each other in the Foxwoods Marine Theater Proceeds support Mystic Aquarium’s penguin conservation efforts here in Connecticut and in South Africa.
