Mystic Aquarium's 6th Annual Penguin Run/Walk on Oct. 13th

Tracy Camp, Senior Penguin Trainer for Mystic Aquarium stops by with a couple of African Pengiuns and to talk about the 6th Annual Penguin Run / Walk on Oct 13th. If you want to participate in the event you have the option to choose between a 5K run or 2 mile walk. Dogs and strollers are welcome for the walk. People can register in-person at Mystic Aquarium on Friday, October 12, 3pm – 7pm, or Saturday, October 13, 7am – 8:30am (online registration is closed). Participants receive FREE admission to the aquarium on race day and get to see the aquarium’s penguins race each other in the Foxwoods Marine Theater Proceeds support Mystic Aquarium’s penguin conservation efforts here in Connecticut and in South Africa.
 
Mystic Aquarium is a division of Sea Research Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, and is counted among the nation’s leading aquariums with more than 300 species and an extensive collection of marine mammals, including New England’s only beluga whales. Mystic Aquarium has been a pioneer in offering guests a variety of up close encounters with a wide range of marine animals. The mission of Sea Research is to inspire people to care for and protect our ocean planet through education, research and exploration.
