Dr. Barbara Greenberg talks about the importance of encouraging teens to participate safely in Halloween.
She will also talk about her book, "Teenage as A Second Language-A Parents Guide to Becoming Bilingual."
She has this advise for parents:
1. Encourage! Don't discourage your teens from celebrating Halloween in a safe way.
2. Do not worry that you are encouraging immature behaviors.
2. Remember that having balance and fun in life is an important skill to teach teens.
3. Remember that people who do best in life know when to work and when to play.
4. Teach your teens and model for them that playing and having fun is important at all stages of life.
5. Take lots of photos and you'll be joining them in having fun.
