Celebrate Our Veterans

Our very own Ann Nyberg www.networkconnecticut.com was in the studio to tell us about a special event coming up this weekend called “Celebrate our Veterans” at Mohegan Sun Casino.
This is an all-day event (11a-5p) focused on saying “Thank You” to all those who put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms but it’s also much more than that. It’s going to be a day of family friendly fun that will help to support two great local causes; Save a Suit, a Shelton-based organization that collects and supplies suits to men and women returning from service so that they might look sharp on a job interview; and the other is Operation: Music Aid, a Madison-based organization that donates new musical instruments to wounded veterans recuperating in military hospitals around the world.

Admission:$20 per person (FREE if you donate a gently-worn suit)
