Creative Arts for Developing Minds

Published : Tuesday, 06 Sep 2011, 3:33 PM EDT

Nan Arnstein started Creative Arts for Developing Minds as a way to give back to the community of foster care children. Arnstein is a former foster care child who learned the piano at the age of 5. Music became a source of strength, continuity and ownership throughout her childhood. She holds a masters degree in Music, taught public school music and directed a community chorus to remain involved in music. Arnstein plays the piano every day and it is this activity that has remained continuous through her life.

Family Fun Day in the Park at Wickham Park in Manchester, CT from 12 - 4 PM on Sunday September 18, 2011.
