NETworks

(WTNH) - The mission of NETworks Summer Youth Program is to positively impact the lives of Bridgeport’s Youth (ages 8-18), helping them to discover their life skills by encouraging them.

NETworks is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between the Housing Authority of the City of Bridgeport, the Bridgeport Police Department and former NBA Four-Time All-Star, Vin Baker. The purpose of the program is to begin to bridge the gap between police and Bridgeport’s youth who live in Housing Authority residences.

Vin is committed to helping and inspiring the youth to dream a world bigger than what they already have. He also wants to help create a more healthier self esteem for the youth and foster a better relationship with the community police.
