(WTNH) - New Haven Free Public Library's Mardi Gras Fundraiser.
On Tuesday, March 8, 2011, Mardi Gras comes home and in returning to the Ives Main Library the celebration reveals the beauty and mystery of the building. The lower level renovation will be unveiled and the nooks and crevices that readers have come to love will display the festive eclectic decorations of Fat Tuesday! Area restaurants including Temple Grill and Sage American Grill and Oyster Bar plus Gateway Community Culinary Department will tout their cuisine. Auction items, some of which will be available for bidding online beginning February 10 at www.biddingforgood.com/newhavenlibrary will also be at the event along with additional auction items to round out the collection.
