(WTNH) - Flamenco is an art and culture that began in the South of Spain centuries ago. Artistically, the most traditional format to see/perform flamenco is with a guitarist, a singer, a dancer, and rhythmic hand-clapping which is the central percussive instrument used in Flamenco.
Rebeca Tomas is a West Haven native who first fell in love with flamenco while spending time studying abroad. After graduating college, she went back to Spain to study flamenco. Now based in New York City, Rebeca freelances with different companies.
