Haute couture by Caryna Nina

New Haven (WTNH) - She is known for her feminine, elegant, one-of-a-kind designs. Haute couture designer Caryna Nina joined Connecticut Style with some of her fabulous clothes.

About Caryna:

Raised in both Paris and Greenwich, Caryna returns frequently to Europe to find inspiration for her designs. While traveling, she searches for special fabrics which come to life in the form of a blouse, dress, caftan or perhaps a kimono. She has an eye for detail, and designs with the goal of making every woman feel beautiful, confident and feminine.

Caryna studied Renaissance art history in Heidelberg, Germany and Florence, Italy, at Pepperdine University, and received a degree in Fashion Design from Parson's School of Design (New York City). She worked as an Assistant Designer for Catherine Puget, an Haute Couture Bridal Atelier in Paris, France, before returning to Greenwich to launch her own line and showroom in 2000.
