From Farm to Table

Published : Wednesday, 24 Oct 2012, 10:58 AM EDT

As the greens and haze of Summer fade and Autumn delights us with its harmony and luster, take time to watch the leaves turn.   Phyllis Napels-Valenti and Bill Black of The Dudley Farm were here to inspire us to can our own fruits and veggies with a demonstration of the proper technique and tools needed to safely store all those summer goodies!

You can also savor the sights and smells of Autumn, while enjoying local and organic produce at their Farm Market. This year they offer squash, root crops, pumpkins, potted mums and more. They also have honey, cut flowers, baked goods, jam and jelly, maple syrup, eggs, pickles, naturally-raised meats, and handmade arts and crafts.  What a fun way to spend a day with the family!
