Gold Star Mothers

(WTNH) -- A local group honors local heroes who have fallen while serving our country.

The organization, "Gold Star Mothers" is made up of mothers who have lost a son or daughter at war.

On Saturday, September 29th, the "CT Fallen Heroes Committee" will have an event at Indian Ledge State Park to honor those heroes.
