Habitat for Humanity of Greater Waterbury

(WTNH) - Habitat for Humanity of Greater Waterbury raises awareness for their local chapter.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Waterbury was founded by Therersa Gorman, a Realtor, and became a sanctioned Affiliate in 2004.

Years of fundraising and allowed them to begin their first build of a single family home in 2007.

They have a foundation of another single family house in Waterbury in place. They expect to begin taking Partner Family applications soon and begin building this spring.

Habitat for Humanity will be holding it's annual Mardi Gras Celebration at The Palace Theater in Waterbury on Friday evening February 3, from 7-11 p.m.
