Hearing Health Seminar

Published : Friday, 19 Oct 2012, 11:56 AM EDT

The New Haven hearing-loss community, along with a number of New Haven-area hearing clinics; are participating in a Hearing Health Seminar for people to learn about advanced treatments for severe to profound hearing loss that could help them experience better hearing.

Unlike hearing aids, these treatments are covered by Medicare and most private health insurances and may be covered by Medicaid. Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with medical professionals, as well as people who have received cochlear implants and are now experiencing the many benefits of improved hearing.

The event is sponsored by Cochlear Americas, the world's leader in advanced hearing technologies.

WHEN: Saturday, October 20, 2012
8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

WHERE: Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale
155 Temple Street
New Haven, CT 06510
