Stage 8 Presents: Marla Morris

Marla Morris is a Bethany, Connecticut native and a Nashville recording artist and songwriter.  She recently released her new album, 'Ready for the Rain,' while attending Belmont University.

Marla has opened for artists such as Kix Brooks (Brooks and Dunn), Chuck Wicks, and just recently she shared the stage with Grand Ole Opry member and legendary country artist, Lorrie Morgan.

'Ready for the Rain' consists of songs all solely written or co-written by Marla, and was produced by acclaimed producer, Mark Oliverius. The album was featured under the 'New and Noteworthy' section of iTunes and landed in the top 100 on the Country Top Albums chart in its first week of release.
