Connecticut Psychiatric & Wellness Center is now offering TMS Therapy (child/adolescent and adult psychiatry), school consultations, forensic psychiatry. The staff includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and licensed clinical social workers (LCSW). TSM Theraphy are the only facility that offers TMS treatment to the public in New Haven county.
Connecticut Psychiatric & Wellness Center was founded in 2010 by Dr. David Aversa, MD, MPH. Located in the Greater New Haven area, Connecticut Psychiatric & Wellness Center specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry, general psychiatry, school consultations, and treatment for adult depression. Our outpatient facility includes services such as the School Consultation Program, forensic psychiatry, and NeuroStar TMS Therapy®, a treatment provided by Neuronetics.
Dr. Aversa is a graduate of the Yale School of Medicine. In addition to treating patients at his practice, he is an Associate Clinical Professor at the Yale Child Study Center, where he serves as an inpatient attending on the Child Psychiatric Inpatient Services at Yale New Haven's Children Hospital. He helps supervise and coordinate forensics and school consultation services and is also Medical Director for in-home services and is a supervisor in the outpatient clinic.
