(WTNH) -- EF Educational Homestay Programs hosts students from abroad.

EF is an international organization devoted to language education and cultural exchange throughout the world. EF Educational First is the world's largest private education company with offices and schools in more than 50 countries.

Are you interested in meeting students from China, Hong Kong, France or Spain? EF is looking for Connecticut residents to host high school students for 2.5 weeks this summer while they study English. Students come with their own spending money and are insured.

The students will take classes in the morning and go on field trips in the afternoon. Anyone with an open home and heart is an ideal host.

Hosts need to provide a bed for the students to sleep in, three meals a day and friendship. EF has programs in New Haven, Hartford, Madison, Bloomfield and Newtown.

Student arrival and departure dates are:

  • New Haven - July 26 to August 13 (Spain, France, Hong Kong and China)
  • Madison - July 25 to August 13 (Italy)
  • Newtown - August 1 to August 20 (France)
  • Hartford - July 11 to August 6 (Hong Kong, Spain, Italy, Russia, Germany)
  • Bloomfield - July 17 to August 5 (China)

EF Educational Homestay Programs is a non-profit division, founded in 1979, with a mission to promote international understanding through cultural exchange and language learning.
