In the Kitchen: Cush's Home Grown Chili

Published : Monday, 04 Feb 2013, 4:36 PM EST

Chris Cushing was a specialty woodworker for over 20 years when the downward spiral of the economy forced him to start thinking outside the box.  Subsequently, Cush’s Homegrown ( www.cushshomegrown.com ) was started in 2009, effectively turning Chris’ hobby of 17 years into a business.

They started in a friends restaurant kitchen making 50 gallons a week and in 2 weeks, they received so many requests they were already behind!  Talk about ‘home grown’, now they can produce 1000 cases in one day!

Today, Chris was in the kitchen with Teresa and  her fiancé Brandon Dufour, demonstrating some easy and delicious game day snacks.
