4th Annual Iron Chef Elm City

(WTNH) - Gateway Community College and Visit New Haven will turn up the heat once again for the fourth annual Iron Chef Elm City competition at the Viking Center of New England in Wallingford. The event happened April 17th beginning at 11:45am.

The reception will be sponsored by the “secret ingredient” providers, Bertolotti Desserts, Calabro Cheese, Chabaso Bakery/Atticus Bookstore-Cafe, Deep River Snacks, Gelato Giulana, Sugar Bakery and Willoughby’s Coffee & Tea. The three contesting restaurants will serve a sampling of the food served at their establishments. There will be raffle for a chance to taste a dish prepared at the competition, as well as a silent auction. Tickets at $30 are limited and can be purchased by calling 203-777-8550 or 203-415-3519. Proceeds benefit a scholarship for hospitality management students at Gateway Community College.
