(WTNH) - Wheat, gluten and dairy free French Toast.
Ingredients:
1 cup Vanilla Soy Milk
1 teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
3 eggs
3 tablespoons (dairy free buttery spread)
12 slices Udi's white bread
Powdered Sugar-as needed
Maple Syrup-as needed
Method:
In medium bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, salt, cinnamon and eggs.
Melt butter in large non-stick fry pan over medium heat. Dredge bread in egg mixture 20-30 seconds, coating both sides. Allow excess egg to completely drip off bread before placing in fry pan and cooking until golden brown, on both sides. Place French toast on platter and repeat with remaining bread. Dust French toast with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
