(WTNH) -- Noelle Alix and Angela Martin talk about their book, Just Cate .
The book is a dual memoir by two lifelong friends and a spirited child with Down syndrome.
Noelle and Angela have been friends since February 1974, meeting in first grade at St. Mary's School in Wappinger Falls, NY, when Noelle moved upstate from NYC.
Just Cate began when Noelle called Angela on her way home from NY to CT for help in writing a magazine article about Cate's funny escapades at the prompting of her family.
