North Haven girl writes own novel

(WTNH) -- A local 13-year-old girl from New Haven recently wrote her own novel and had it published.

Molly D'Andrea is the author of "Shattered Ones," a novel that was published in August.

The book is about a man who befriends a 7-year-old girl after he loses his own wife and daughter.

Molly says that she has always had a passion for writing and that she is taking a break before thinking of what she will write about next.
