(WTNH) -- Ovarian cancer touches many lives and due to its subtle symptoms and rarity, most women know little or nothing about ovarian cancer.

You may be surprised to know it's not just found in older women. Natalie Cosman was diagnosed over a year ago when she was just 7-years-old.

Join in the third annual Run/Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer on September 22 at Hammonasset Beach State Park. [Click here to read the brochure]

The event is in need of volunteers to hand out gift baskets, gift certificates, and donations for our raffles. They also need bottled water, iced tea, sports drinks, granola bars, fresh veggies and fruit trays for survivors.
