Petite America & Petite World pageant

(WTNH) -- Kimberly White-Geremia talks about the upcoming Petite America & Petite World pageant taking place in Connecticut on August 4th.
White-Geremia created Petite America and Petite World pageants as a way to honor the accomplishments of women 5'6" and under while celebrating their beauty, intelligence and
community involvement.
Teenage contestants up to women 50-years-old and older are eligible to compete.
There will also be a charity event the event Queens will be participating in on Friday, August 3rd to benefit the Waterbury Veterans Memorial Committee. Honoring active
duty military and Veterans is the unofficial platform of the pageant.
