(WTNH) - Project Style benefits the homeless in New Haven.

Liberty Community Services has been in New Haven for 25 years and providing permanent housing for people who are homeless due to HIV/AIDS or mental illness. They are seeking to end homelessness in New Haven.

Project Style began 4 years ago when store owners and designers helped Liberty to get its message out and to raise funds. Emmett McCarthy from Project Runway has been involved from the start.

Sonia Baghdady will host the Project Style Fashion Show and Fundraiser on May 9 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the New Haven Lawn Club. Tickets are $50 and the proceeds benefit Liberty Community Services.
