(WTNH) -- On Route 34 in Seymour, along the beautiful Housatonic River, you'll find Tavern 1757.

The Tavern is the newest restaurant that's part of the Inn at Villa Bianca. The story behind the building is that it was actually built in 1757.

Executive Chef and Owner, Tony Mavuli, Chef Nicola Maggioni and Dan Wikowski, Executive General Manager stopped by to talk about the restaurant and cook some delicious food.

Tavern 1757 recently had their soft opening and the official grand opening is coming up.
