(WTNH) - The SARAH Foundation advocates for people with disabilities.

SARAH is a family of agencies, which was started in the 1950s by 4 parents of disabled children, that provide programs and services for people with intellectual and other disabilities. They believe that people with disabilities deserve to experience life's joys, learn, work and accomplish all they can and live their lives with dignity and independently as valued members of their community.

Jamie Lazaroff will be the keynote speaker at the SARAH Gala on May 3rd at the Woodwinds in Branford. With him is Linda Vigorito, President of the SARAH Foundation and mother to a disabled adult.
