HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- An amber alert that was issued for a 2-year-old has been called off. The child was found safe and unharmed in Bristol.
The amber alert had been issued for a 2-year-old who was last seen at 4:00 p.m. in a stolen car.
Luis Trinidad was last seen in a 2003 orange Cadillac CTS with the license plate 186YGW.
The 2-year-old has short dirty blonde hair and is wearing a brown sweat suit with black boots.
The child was allegedly left in a car with the keys in it and the vehicle was stolen from the area of 2766 Main Street.
The car had been found at 440 Asylum in Hartford as of 6:00 p.m. but the child was still missing.
Police confirmed the child was safe and unharmed around 7:00 p.m.
The suspect is in custody and was found in Hartford.
