(WTNH) - Folks are sounding off on a variety of topics including a program that will give business loans to create jobs in Connecticut.
"I think the governor is crazy. We can't even take care of taxpayer money now," said Rita of Hamden. "He needs to look in his pocket and reach out and cut his staff in half. We pay enough taxes for everything. Give us a break."
"Yes I think the governor needs to give businesses loans so we can create more jobs because the unemployment rate in Connecticut is very high including myself who's been laid off for over two years," said Anotoinette of Hamden.
"I'm calling in regard to the closing of the postal facility in Wallingford and Stamford. That's a disgrace," said Ben of Ansonia. "These people need their jobs, have to get their on time, can't they think of anything else to do."
"In regards to gas station prices. I can't believe how high they're getting. I mean I live in West Haven and by the time I get to Milford I'm on a half a tank," said Kate of West Haven. "so where does this all end. I can't believe this."
"I think John couldn't say it any more eloquently about the woman who was arrested for sending her kid to school in Norwalk and undocumented people. I think he couldn't say it anymore perfect for all of us," said Gloria of Middletown.
"How dare an American citizen think they can send their child to a school in Norwalk when those desks are reserved for the children of illegal aliens. We have to educate these illegal aliens first," said John of Plainfield.
