(WTNH) - Connecticut Limo has worked out an agreement with the Port Authority to regain its preferred status at the three major airports in the New York metropolitan area.
An attorney for the company credits congresswoman Rosa DeLauro's office for helping to get the deal done.
Connecticut Limo had been locked in a five month long permit dispute with the Port Authority.
As a result, Connecticut Limo had lost it's permit to pick up passengers at preferred locations at the three New York metro area airports: JFK, LaGuardia and Newark.
The Port Authority said Connecticut Limo's permit was pulled because the transit company owes it $92,000 which has gone unpaid despite four or five months of notices and warnings.
