(WTNH) -- More than 4,000 bikers participated in the 12th Annual Connecticut United Ride.
It's considered to be the largest 9-11 tribute in Connecticut.
The bikers, were totaled over 4,000, were accompanied by police escorts as they took the 60-mile drive. The groups passed through 11 towns with no stoplights and no stops.
Firefighters decorated the route from Norwalk to Bridgeport with Flags to welcome the riders.
Money raised during the event goes to Connecticut firefighters, police and the United Way.
