BERLIN, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut Light & Power is reporting that 255 customers are without power, down substantially after storms moved through the state.
The outage total early Monday morning was down from 1,263 earlier and a high of more than 11,000 late Sunday afternoon. The Northeast Utilities subsidiary reported that most of the remaining outages are in Waterbury.
The National Weather Service reported on Sunday that severe thunderstorms moved through much of Connecticut, Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.
