(WTNH) -- "Bike, Walk CT" wants you to try a new way to get around.

The group has launched it's Bike to Work Challenge.

It's designed to help you save money and just have fun.

You can compete for prizes and other awards by tracking your bike miles online.

Cyclist Roland Chirico says the workout is the number one benefit for him.

"Just being awake, I don't need a coffee to get started in the morning, I feel great all day," he said. "I don't have to go to the gym after work. I got my workout for the day and I just feel awesome."

The group says you don't actually have to bike to work, you can also participate by just biking to get around.

The challenge ends on August 31st.
