Most dangerous roads in Conn.

(WTNH) -- An annual report about the most dangerous roads in Connecticut for pedestrians is out and one of the busiest roads in the state is also the deadliest.

Route 1 known as the Boston Post Road is the most dangerous road in Connecticut, according to the 'Tri-State Transportation Campaign.'

Six pedestrians were killed there between 2009 and 2011.

Route 66 and US-44 are also highlighted as dangerous with three fatalities each but the campaign says Connecticut is making good progress toward becoming more pedestrian-friendly.
