BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are searching for the suspect who robbed a Citizen's Bank in a Chopper Grocery Store.

Around 2:45 p.m. a white man in his mid 30's went to the counter at the bank located at 121 Farmington Ave.

The male was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the Adidas logo on the front, a dark colored knit hat, dark sun glasses with reflective lens, blue jeans and black gloves.

Police say the suspect implied to the teller he had a gun and told her he wanted the money. No weapon was seen during the incident.

The suspect then left on foot with an unknown amount of money.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bristol Police Criminal Investigation Division at (860) 314-4561.
