(WTNH) -- Power has been restored to tens of thousands of utility customers after an overnight wind storm knocked down trees and power lines across the state Thursday.
Following the storm, more than 80,000 customers reported power outages Thursday morning.
As of 10 a.m. Friday, outage numbers were down to less than 4,000 between CL&P and UI customers combined.
CL&P reported approximately 3,800, or less than 1 percent of its customers remaining without power Friday morning. While UI reported 88 outages affecting 165 customers.
