Largest Powerball jackpot ever at $425 million

(WTNH) -- A record $425 million dollars is up for grabs Wednesday after no one matched the winning numbers in Saturday's Powerball drawing.

The numbers were 22, 32, 37, 44, 50, Powerball 34.

If someone wins and takes the lump sum option, they'll receive $278 million, before taxes.

Someone in New York came close Saturday night, matching all but the Powerball number. That ticket is worth two million dollars to the person holding it.

The previous record was $365 million, won back in 2006 and shared by ConAgra Foods workers in Nebraska. Earlier this year in Rhode Island a winning ticket was sold worth $336.4 million.
