Viewers remember Dr. Mel

(WTNH) - Through their grief, viewers found solace in their memories of Dr. Mel Goldstein.

Several viewers used News 8's Report It feature to relay stories of waking up and having their morning coffee while watching Dr. Mel explain the day's forecast.

Dr. Mel had been fighting Multiple myeloma for a number of years, and he was a big supporter of cancer research.

Dr. Mel was 66 years old when he passed away.
