(WTNH) -- Callers sound off about resetting parking meters in New Haven, kids flying alone, and more in tonight's Voice of the People.
Robert from Wallingford said, "you gotta be kidding me. If there's time left on a meter, they should let anybody park. That's double dipping by the city."
Walter from Shelton said, "they wonder why that nobody wants to shop downtown. All they're doing is squeezing the people, that's why nobody shops downtown."
Pat from Madison said, "I think the Meriden Police Department, as all police departments, in Connecticut are doing all they can with this gun violence. You know if you trace down this gun violence...the gun violence is coming from all these kids who have illegal weapons. Not legally-owned weapons."
Mariane from Milford said, "I agree that little children that are flying alone should not sit next to any male passengers because of what's going on out there. There are so many perverts out there."
Anonymous from Milford said, "what's wrong with these parents that let their children got on an airplane by themselves. Does that make sense? With all these crazy people in this world."
