(WTNH) -- Viewers sound off about a political candidate who fled the scene of an accident, the Charla Nash lawsuit, and more in today's Voice of the People.

Reggie from New Haven said, "I think the lady that was involved in that hit and run should bow out. She's not above the law. And I think perhaps she had been out partying, celebrating victory when that accident occurred."

Sharon from Watertown said, "should not be allowed to run. She has poor character obviously, and doesn't have any regard for human life."

Jason from Coventry said, "calling in regard to the Charla Nash lawsuit. I'm a little concerned that Governor Malloy, Paul Vance Jr. as the State's Claim Commissioner. The one that decides who can sue the state. And the fact that the case originated in Stamford, while Governor Malloy was the Mayor. Compound that with mister Vance Jr. is the son of State Police Spokesperson Lt. Paul Vance. Seems like a conflict of interest to say the least. Shows that if you're successful in today's job market it's not what you know, but who you know."

Janet from Waterbury said, "about the parking meters resetting to zero, rather than leave the extra minutes to the next person, I think it's a pretty greedy move. And the attempt to pass it off as part of a pilot program to measure parking volume in the daytime, it just sounds so ridiculous."
