(WTNH) -- In tonight's Voice of the People, callers are sounding off about the Hartford busline, a former police chief's payout, wasted food, and more.

Craig from Oxford said, "I think it's a huge waste of taxpayer money. I don't think there will be enough riders on it. I think the plan should be abandoned immediately."

Virginia from Southington said, "finding parking, paying for parking, riding the bus and paying for that. Then finding a way to reach your destination once you reach Hartford or New Britain. It's gonna be very time consuming."

Angela from East Haven said, "I do believe he should receive his payout. He worked for it, he deserves it."

Alex from West Haven said, "you know what, we just don't know what to do anymore. Don't buy new food, buy too much food, eat all the food, don't eat all the food. I think America should get their priorities pretty straight."

Vicki from Waterbury said, "I can not believe that you showed those sexual photos of the Prince on the 5:30 news. My 10-year-old was watching. Does this mean I can't let my 10-year-old watch your news anymore?"
