(WTNH) -- Plenty of New 8 viewers had something to say about President Obama's trip to Connecticut on Monday night. He was here to raise money for his re-election campaign.
"I think it's outrageous that we would have affairs in this state that cost $35,000 plus a plate, to meet with the President. He hasn't met with anybody who is not paying those prices. So who does? He represent? Who are the people going to these functions? We'd like to see a list of those names. They could tell us who and what is running this country," said Liz in Stratford.
"I don't think you should focus on the traffic delays when the President comes to our state. I think it is a privilege that President Obama is coming into our state and people should look at it as a privilege, not that they're a little inconvenienced because of a little bit of traffic," said Rona in New Haven.
"People actually having the audacity to spend almost $40,000 for a plate of food, when we're in such dire shape in this state and in this country and in this world," said Angela in Wallingford. "It's a shame, it's absolute despicable and disgusting."
