(WTNH) -- You're weighing in on arming teachers versus having armed guards in schools. You're also talking about folks in Newtown who want visitors and media out. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.

Bill from Norfolk said, "we're spending billions and billions of dollars on homeland security, what are they doing? Why are we spending all these billions on homeland security? It doesn't seem to me like they could catch a cold."

Tommy from New Haven said, "they're talking about having the teachers have guns in school and all that? No, that's the wrong way to go, because what if one of the kids gets a hold of the gun that the teacher has? What they should do is put a couple of undercover officers in the school, in the classroom, you know, that's what they should do."

Mary from East Lyme said, "I was a little upset tonight when I've heard the comments from some of the people in that particular town, like everybody should go home. The people that are coming there aren't tourists, they're coming because they care, they're concerned, they have compassion, and a sympathy for what happened. And to complain even about the media being there...if the media wasn't there, how would we all know what's going on?"
