(WTNH) -- A lot of people are talking about why there are so many wrong-way crashes on Connecticut's highways and how they might be prevented. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.
Mary Kay from Hamden said, "I'm calling in reference to the wrong way drivers on 95 or any of our major highways. Maybe if there were some flashing yellow lights or red lights along with the wrong way signs, that would help. I think flashing lights would be more attractive."
Jack from Southington said, "I've noticed so many entrances to highways like 84, and the Merritt and that type of thing. The signs are on the wrong side of the entrance to the road. Really confusing. I've turned on wrong way, not going up into the highway, but turned on the wrong road and realized that I wasn't on the ramp but, the markings in Connecticut are very sparse."
Gary from New Haven said, "I realize that at the end of the year you want to tell us all the horrible things that happened all year, but we still have one more week of the year, there's probably gonna be more horrible things next week. Do we have to hear all the horrors of 2012 tonight? Have a Merry Christmas, still love you guys."
