(WTNH) -- Many of News 8's viewers voicing their concerns, criticisms and a few ideas about a recent spike in wrong way drivers here in Connecticut. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.

Anonymous of Jewett City said, "yes in regards to the wrong way onto the turnpikes and stuff like that. I think they should put the old trundles like they used to have when you tried to sneak into the drive in theater, where it pops your tires ya know? Do it a safe distance up in case somebody makes on honest mistake and they get a chance to turn around, but if you have somebody that's really drunk, let it pop their tires.  At least they cant go too far"

Amy of Waterbury said, "I'm calling in on the wrong way drivers in Connecticut. Unfortunately one of my friends was the one of the wrong way drivers and she ended up losing her life. Connecticut needs to revamp their street signs and crack down on underage drinking and driving drunk."
