(WTNH) -- Folks are sounding off about a woman accused of scamming money out of people in the name of a Sandy Hook victim. They're also talking about the fiscal cliff. Here's tonight's Voice of the People.
Diane of New Haven said, "In regards to this Alba person that stole the funds from the Newtown victims, I first of all can't believe that this troll is out on bond. Just for the fact that she committed such a disgusting, despicable crime, such an inexcusable crime against defenseless people and their babies, she should be jailed and she should be locked up and not allowed to be out. Period."
Bob of Milford said, "I'm calling about the Russian ban on US adoptions. I think that people need to concentrate on the children that are here and adopt a child here, there's plenty of American children without families, why people choose to bring them in from other countries, I'll never understand, and they need to look at the kids that are here, there's plenty of kids here that need to be adopted."
Elle of Seymour said, "I'm sick and tired of our dysfunctional government and the little game they're playing with our lives with this fiscal cliff. Obviously they don't care about the taxpayers except get more money about them, and especially they don't care about seniors and handicapped because their cuts are all aimed at the elderly and the handicapped. No cuts in Medicaid, but cut Medicare and social security, oh yeah. They better get their act together."
